Project  :  Balwadis

We run two Balwadis.  We will add one more by the  the next year.

One of the objectives of our Trust is to set up Balwadis. The Balwadis are like  coaching classes where extra academic coaching by Trust appointed teachers, for two to three hours per day, is provided to the needy school going children. Along with academics various activities are carried out to motivate the children and to develop other qualities such as self-confidence.

We are happy to inform that our first Balwadi was started in Thane in 2015 (January) and the second one, in Rabale Navi Mumbai, was started in June 2016. Both the centres are doing extremely well.

In the Balwadis also along with academics we also conduct a number of other activities.  One of the important things that the children need is a feeling that there are people like us who care for them. We can make this possible if we all join them and be a part of their activities at least for some time. They want people like us to tell them that- You can also do and achieve whatever you want if you put your heart and soul into whatever you do.

We interact with the children on different occasions– celebrate birthday with them, distributes sweets, toys and games, footwear, dresses, etc. We also celebrate Diwali and other festivals with them. Small begining with Dental Camp has been started.

Our First Balwadi - Location :  Thane , Bhim Nagar ( Vartak Nagar).

In this Balwadi thre are 28 children. The teacher's name is Mrs. Shrya Srikant. In order to provide higher quality teaching to the senior class students a student student studying in 2nd year engineering, Mr. Prakash has been appointed. Mr.Prakash will teach Science, Maths and English to 6th standard and above.
